这两天翻看以前的账单，无意中发现我购买的Dreamhost空间竟然支付了两次。

本来申请时，开始是用信用卡支付，但提示失败，当时以为是该优惠不对中国信用卡开放，
后来转而使用Paypal支付了。
第二天好像又收到了信用卡支付成功的提示，当时也没在意。

昨晚用我那蹩脚的英文在Dreamhost面板发了邮件申请退款，
要求把第二次支付的款项退回。

后来收到回信：

Hi Honk,
I am sorry for your troubles, Unfortunately it looks like the second
payment made towards your account was made by paypal. We are unable to
refund paypal payments back to you, this restriction is stated on our
website when making this payment towards your account using paypal. I see
that you have made two payments towards your account for the amount of
$9.24. If you would like I can refund the credit card payment that was
made from credit card ending ****. Please let me know if you would like
for me to refund this credit card payment back to your credit card for
you. I am sorry for this inconvenience, please let me know if you have
any further questions or have any troubles.

囧，Paypal的支付在Dreamhost是无法退回的，问我是否退回信用卡的支付（我以为第二次是信用卡支付，其实是Paypal），当然接收了。
很快又收到回复：

Hi Honk,
I am writing you to let you know that I have credited back your credit
card ending ****for the amount of $9.24 that was over paid. This should
reflect on your credit card statement within 5-10 days depending on how
fast your credit card company processes the credit. Please let me know if
there is anything else I can assist you with or if you have any
questions.

5-10天应该能到账吧

从这件事来看，Dreamhost不够厚道，多付的款默认不退回，也不提示用户。
幸亏自己去查到了。
